246 Destroy Gundam HG

The Destroy Gundam's sheer size in HG scale caught me off guard once it was fully assembled, it towers over my other kits on the shelf. Detail on the chest and shoulders is sharp right out of the box, and the joints hold poses way better than I expected.

Building this thing took me a whole weekend and the leg articulation holds up way better than I expected for an HG. The panel line detail on the shoulders really pops once you get a topcoat on it.

The sheer scale of this kit is what got me—it towers over my other HGs and really dominates the shelf. The panel lines on the armor are crisp enough that even my basic detailing markers pop without needing heavy cleanup. Build took a solid evening but the imposing silhouette was worth every minute.
