The armored panels on this Unicorn version of Liu Bei look so sharp in person, and the transformation gimmick is way cooler than I expected for the price. Took me an evening to snap it together, but the gold trim details really pop once it's on the shelf.
The way this kit merges the classic Liu Bei look with the Unicorn's iconic silhouette is way cooler in person than in the photos. Panel lining the distinctive armor pieces really made the design pop, and it stands out nicely on my shelf next to my other builds.
The gold trim on the chest piece is way more detailed in person than in the photos, and the Unicorn horn gimmick slots in cleanly without feeling fragile. Snap-fit assembly took me about an hour, and the joints hold poses surprisingly well for a kit this size.
