The detail on the armor plates really surprised me, especially the layered gold trim that looks way better than the promo shots suggested. Took me about three evenings to finish the build, and it holds a pose on the shelf without any drooping. Easily the most fun I've had with a kit this year.
The articulation on the armor pieces is fantastic—his cape and blade hold poses way better than I expected for a kit this size. The whole build felt rewarding from start to finish, and he looks absolutely stunning on the shelf next to my other figures.
