The way the chest and shoulder armor snap together for the Gun Form transformation is so satisfying, and the Plat Form's simplicity makes it a fun build on its own. I've always wanted a Den-O that could actually switch between forms, and this kit nails that gimmick straight out of the box.
Swapping the parts to recreate the transformation sequence is way more fun than I expected, and the Plat Form body feels solid once assembled. The paint apps on Gun Form’s chest are crisp right out of the box, no stickers needed for the main details.
The articulation on the belt and limbs is surprisingly solid for a model kit, and snapping together the two forms takes me right back to the show’s transformation scenes. The color separation is clean enough that even my shaky panel-lining looks decent.
