The rigging on this thing is way more intricate than I figured for the price, every little line actually goes somewhere. Sits on my bookshelf next to some old paperbacks and it holds its own.
Didn't expect the sails to actually look like fabric, they're textured enough to fool you from a few feet away. Sits perfectly on my bookshelf next to the old nautical charts.
The rigging detail on this one is what sold me—every line and sail looks properly finished up close. It's got real presence on the desk, and the wood tone makes it feel like a genuine piece of maritime history.
