Aegis Gundam BB #261 SD

The super-deformed proportions on this thing are adorable without making it look cheap. Took me maybe an hour to assemble, and the color separation is clean enough that I barely needed to panel line it. Sits perfectly on my shelf next to the bigger kits.

The little SD proportions make this Aegis sit perfectly on my shelf next to my other chibi kits, and the compact build was a fun afternoon project. The transformation into its mobile armor mode actually holds together better than I expected for such a small figure.

The transformation gimmick still works even in this chibi SD form, which surprised me for such a compact kit. Articulation in the shoulders and hips is decent for posing on a shelf, and the panel lines are clean enough to detail without much fuss.
