Kamen Rider Den-O's Ax Form and Plat Form joins the Figure-rise Standard figure model kit lineup. Recreate his transformation sequences with this unique release—just like in the show! Den-O can be created in either Ax Form or Plat Form, he is approximately 5.9 inches tall.
The way the Ax Form’s parts swap over to show both forms in one kit is such a clever nod to the show’s transformation gimmick. Building the Plat Form first really made me appreciate the detail, and the joints hold up nicely once you pose him mid-change.
The articulation on the transformation joints is really tight, so swapping between the Ax and Plat forms actually feels like recreating the show's sequence. Build time was about two hours, and the chest piece snapped in with a satisfying click.
Finally got to build both forms out of one box, and the panel lines on Plat Form are sharp enough that even my sloppy detailing looks clean. Swapping the parts to mimic the transformation sequence actually works, which is a fun touch I didn't expect from a model kit.
